Although almost everyone is conscious about their health now a day, we are in problem to have the same. Why? We want to have a good shaped body. But we don’t want to maintain that. You certainly have heard about BMI already. I want to explain the whole fact so that you can easily refresh your knowing on BMI.What is BMI?
BMI stands for Body Mass Indicator. This is nothing but the scientific measure that uses to calculate your body fat.
Here I put a BMI calculator on sidebar for you. The process of calculating the BMI level is very easy. Just input your age in the age box and weight in the weight box of the calculator and click on the calculate button, you will get your BMI level instantly. Don’t forget to select the box that shown Female or Male.
Now you have to know about BMI level. Which level is good and which is not for you. Here for you I am going to explain the BMI level. Just follow the explanation and find your level good or bad.
If your BMI level is 20 or below 20:
This level indicates that your weight may be too low which may lower your immunity. You should gain weight through good diet and exercise habit if your BMI level and body weight are low.
If your BMI level is in between 20 to 22:
Congrats!
It indicates that you have sound health. It is the ideal level for everyone. You can enjoy long life without being disturbed by serious illness because of having healthy amount of body fat. Your body is good shaped.
If your BMI level is in between 22 to 25:
This level is not bad but not as good as the previous one. This level is considered as good by the Doctors. Although you are in acceptable BMI level, you may be benefited from losing a few extra pounds.
If your BMI level is in between 25 to 30:
This level indicates that you are slightly over weight and should lower your extra weight. You are at risk for different disease with your present weight. So loss your extra weight and be fit and fine.
If your BMI level is in between 30 and Above:
This level of BMI indicates that you are not in healthy condition. Your excess weight puts you at risk for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and many other disease. You can not but lose extra weight.
Please don’t forget that BMI level is not the only indicator of health risk. It is one of many indicators. You should consider some other indicators to be confirmed about your health condition. You have to consider the following factors:
1. Blood Sugar level.
2. Blood Pressure level
3. Cholesterol level.
4. Family History of Different Disease.
5. Diet.
